FOCUS & SCOPES

The Journal publishes scientific and technical papers and other articles in the interdisciplinary area of environmental engineering. The scientific topics covered by the Journal include geo-engineering, water resources management, technical aspects of environmental protection and similar areas. Papers are accepted for publication after receiving a positive review. They are categorized as an original scientific paper, previous announcement, review paper or technical paper.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

All papers relevant for the Journal are reviewed by two independent reviewers. Review process would be much faster if authors suggest competent potential reviewers (2 to 3) when submitting their manuscripts. In that case, authors should propose potential reviewers in a separate word document by specifying their first and last name, academic title, affiliation, and email address.
However, the editors reserved the right to make the final selection of peer reviewers. Depending on the reviews the editor together with the editorial board decides to accept the paper with no, minor, moderate or major corrections or to reject the paper. Reviews and decisions are sent to the corresponding author.

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY & CHARGES

The Journal is published biannually. There are no charges for printing the paper. The length of the paper is not limited.
However, it is recommended that it should not be longer than 15 single-spaced A4 pages, with all figures included. The figures in colour approved by the editorial board will not be additionally charged.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

The journal "ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING - INŽENJERSTVO OKOLIŠA" is published by the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering.
All issues of this journal are entirely and freely available online. Yet it is possible to subscribe to the print version.
