Graduated: 2005 “The high waters of the Bliznec stream in the Rebar profile”, mentor prof. Ranko Žugaj, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering, the field of hydrology, nominated for the annual award of „Hrvatske vode“ in the field of hydrotechnics.

Work experience:

1980 - 2022 Worked at the Meteorological and Hydrological Service of The Republic of Croatia, Department of Hydrology, in the following positions:

1980 - 1985 Technical Associate in the Department for Hydrological studies and analysis

1985 - 2010 Expert associate in the Department of Informatics, creating and testing hydrological information systems (BHP, HIS2000).

2011 – 2015 Head of the Department for Sediment and riverbed morphology, where she’s engaged in the promotion of new measurement methods in the field of river sediment transport dynamics and the development of a hydrological database related to monitoring river sediment and morphological changes of river beds.

2015 – 2022 Head of the Department for Hydrological Studies, analysis and forecasts where is actively engaged in hydrological analysis, development of hydrological models, and the implementation of hydrological forecasts in the national flood defense system.

In 2022 was elected to the position of assistant professor in the field of technical sciences, scientific field: interdisciplinary technical sciences, branch: environmental engineering.

May 2022 moved to the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering

Teaching activities:

2019 - 2021 teaches the following courses as an external associate:

Since 2022 teaches as a full-time employee, folowing courses:

Professional activities and memberships:

2015 - 2022 The member of the International expert group on hydrology within the Permanent Croatian Hungarian Commission and Croatian Slovenian Sub-Commission for Water Quantities.

Since 2015 a member of National Board of Commission for Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG), field of hydrology.

Since 2022 is the president of the Croatian Hydrological Society (HHD) and a member of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS).

She participated in the organization of domestic and international scientific and professional conferences and domestic and international projects in the field of hydrology, hydrotechnics and environmental protection (under the auspices of: WMO, UNESCO, EC).
