Graduated: 1987.
PhD: 2001

Scientific and professional activity:
Participation in numerous scientific and research projects in the field of geotechnics, mining and ecology. Editorial board member of the scientific journal: Croatian Geotechnical Journal (1994. – 1999.) and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Geotechnics, the University of Zagreb since 2014 and as the main editor from 2015 to 2019.

Member of professional and scientific societies: Croatian Geotechnical Society, International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, International Society for Rock
Mechanics and the Society of Civil Engineers and Technicians Varaždin.

Author or co-author of numerous mining and professional geotechnical projects, studies and environmental impact studies. He is an author or a co-author of several scientific and professional papers published in Croatia and Worldwide in geophysics, mining and geotechnics.

Supervisor of more than 50 bachelor and master theses at the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering.
