She has participated as a leader and associate in several scientific, national, international and EU projects and professional projects in the field of hydrogeological and geochemical research and protection of water resources in alluvial, karst and geothermal systems.
So far, she has been a supervisor of several bachelor and master theses (GFV, PMF), a co-supervisor and a supervisor of two master theses (University of Zagreb) and a supervisor and a co-supervisor of 8 doctoral dissertations (7 at the University of Zagreb and 1 at the University of Nova Gorica, Slovenia).

Three times she was the head of the Department of Hydrotechnics and the head of the Laboratory for Environmental Geochemistry.

She is a member of the Croatian Geological Society, the Committee for Geochemistry of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the International Association of Hydrogeologists. In the period from 2000 to 2006, twice she was the national representative in the COST Technical Committee on Environment in Brussels.

At the National Agency for Science and Education she has been the President of the Master Board in the fields of chemical engineering and technology, mining, petroleum and geological engineering, metallurgy, textile technology and graphic technology since 2017.

She takes part in reserach studies and protection of water, hydrogeochemistry, geochemistry of geothermal systems and soil geochemistry.
