Upon the completion of the graduate study programme in Environmental Management, students will be able to:

• organize activities of a business entity which are in line with the requirements of environmental protection and sustainable development,


• apply the methods of environmental protection in engineering interventions in the environment,


• use engineering knowledge and principles of environmental protection and energy efficiency in the work of a business entity,


• make plans for investigating/measuring and monitoring of each environmental element and interpret the obtained results,


• assess risks and participate in conducting feasibility studies concerning environmental engineering problems of a medium complexity,


• participate in preparing detailed studies on a preliminary impact assessment on an ecological network,


• co-ordinate and conduct environmental protection studies, environmental impact assessment studies and documentation needed for obtaining environmental permits,


• monitor the condition of the environment and its elements as well as emissions into the environment and co-ordinate and prepare the reports on specific elements of the environment,


• co-ordinate interdisciplinary teams for the purpose of preparing, implementing and supervising environmental protection.
